Take a Leap - Simon Monday Challenge

It's Monday!
Welcome to another great challenge at Simon Monday Challenge Blog.
This week the theme is TAKE A LEAP INTO THE UNKNOWN.
This may be anything new, new life, new achievement, marriage, a baby, a journey, new house, any change...

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving $50 to spend on fabulous goodies at Simon Says Stamp Store. Isn't is worth joining us?

This canvas is going to encourage me to do anything I have doubts about.
I made it quite mixed media because it's my recent passion!

The background is covered with light and coarse modeling paste to give it dimension and texture. I love to spill aquarel inks on it.
The effect is amazing and every time diferent. It's a lot of fun.

The main element was framed with Postage Stamp Frame Die and embossed with Embossing Folder and finally touched with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink

Behind the frame there are pieces of Brick Wall Die and some pieces of gauze covered with Clear Embossing Ink and then with Embossing Black powder.
I have never done it before!

Lastly I gave some touch of Out Loud Stamp randomly.

Thank you for stopping by.
I hope you feel inspired a little bit.
See you next week!

Inspired By a Song - Simon Monday Challenge

Hi there!
This is my second project for Simon Monday Challenge and I'm still thrilled!
Today's challenge is amazing and I love it:
It means you can be creatively inspired by any song you love and show us your project. We can't wait to know what do you sing while taking a shower!

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd is one of my best songs ever!
This project is quite personal and absolutely inspired by the song.
I made it using the Pocket Watch Frame Die as a base.
I cut it out several times just to receive a shadow box.
All the layers were glued and trated by white gesso.
Then I applied the structural paste through Art Is template.
I love the hand writting of this stencil.
One side of the front element was covered by Crackled Texture Paste.
All the composition was sprayed with Vibrant Turquoise ink spray
and stamped with Carte Postale stamp by Tim Holtz.
In the middle of the frame I put the great globe from You Mean the World to Me Die-Namics and embellished it with a circle from Stitched Circle.

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving a $50 voucher to shop at the greatest Simon Says Stamp Store. Don't miss the chance to win it!

Thank you for stopping by, see you soon!
